I know it is a horrific thought but Sir David has influenced our society arguably more than any other living person and is a hero to multiple generations. He helped spearhead colour T.V and it is plain to see that our lives would be less rich had he not been around. He deserves national recognition and a day of mourning on the sad day that he eventually departs. It seems horrible to be talking about such a thing but in order for him to get the national recognition I think he deserves plans must be made, hopefully it will be no time soon but still the more time this petition is up the more likely it will succeed.
