Demand the UK government publicly condemn Donald Trump's response to the riots
Why this petition matters

The events of recent days have shocked the world to the core. George Floyd was a human being, who through sheer police brutality was killed in cold blood. Subsequently, the world has seen riots alongside peaceful protests against the systemic racial injustice in which exists in our society. Whilst many have played a role in this by showing support on social media, signing petitions, and donating money, the UK government continues to remain silent.
In order to eradicate the injustices which exist so radically in society, the world leaders must join together to solve these issues. They must denounce anyone who has made remarks which incite further violence and further racial hatred. Unfortunately, this very much applies to President Donald Trump. His tweets discussing shooting looters, his willingness to bring in the army, and his complete negligence to understand the reasons for these events taking place is demoralising, yet unsurprising.
Whilst currently the UK government is making tough decisions on coronavirus, this does not mean racial injustice can be put on the back burner. Therefore, I propose a petition in which invigorates the movement to push for the UK to publicly denounce Donald Trump's handling of this situation, his racist stance in general, and to stand up to racism in all forms.
As a country, we must be shown to be united with our black communities. Failure to do so is a failure to properly protect the rights and freedoms of black citizens in our country, and globally.
Update: Boris Johnson today failed to provide a sufficient response to this issue. It was damming through his press conference and PMQs, he so drastically failed to recognise the wrongness of Trumps actions. If Boris won't do anything, WE MUST.
In the video I have posted, it shows people being arrested without committing any sort of violent act and shows the desperation of a young lady who wants a change in society urgently.
Together we can be better.
Black lives matter! No Justice. No Peace.
