As a British citizen of the United Kingdom I believe our safety and security within the UK is weak. The United States of America however, have a system that puts the 'population' first. Their civil defense system installation is placed across different states and counties: allowing the public to be alerted for any environmental warnings, war attacks, and nuclear devastation - however, in the UK we have none. Citizens within the United Kingdom do not have civil defense systems that would help them gain an early warning before any attack were to occur, so that immediate evacuation could commence and that we can protect the population. I think it should be considered by the Department of Defense to install civil defense warning sirens around the country, as well as inject side fundings on an emergency broadcasting system - in which both will help the population reach quickly on early warnings in-case of an attack or environmental threat, allowing them to prepare and evacuate immediately. It is also necessary that fallout shelters plotted around main towns and cities need to be constructed in order for the public to seek safe spots, just in-case they cannot evacuate in time - the London Underground would be an example of one. This petition is not a joke and I seriously advise you to consider the installation for a civil defense warning system within the United Kingdom.
