It would be nice just to point to one factor and say, "That's the culprit - don't do that and you'll be fine" but that's impossible.

People are being complacent. They're not following the pretty common sense advice from the Scottish Government.

Don't be complacent, complacency kills.

Crowded indoor spaces are the worst places you can go and pubs are obviously number one on the list of places to avoid. As people drink alcohol, they become less aware of social distancing and their voices become louder which aids transmission of the virus.
