Excellent progress has been made in the UK.  There has been a ban on animal testing for cosmetics. lt is said research on animals is essential for medical reasons although 92% of experiments either turn out to be pointless,a waist of investment or a long way short of its purpose.  Is killing or harming animals for so little success acceptable?
