Birds really don’t deserve to die because of such cruel bird deterrent measures. Help stop the killing of endangered birds such as the Herring Gull and other birds in Wales who simply want a place to land and thrive.
Fascinating Fact
All the species of gull in the UK have protection under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the Wildlife (Northern Ireland) Order 1985. This means it is illegal to intentionally or, in Scotland and Northern Ireland, recklessly injure or kill any gull or damage or destroy active nests and their contents. In Scotland and N.Ireland, it is also against the law to prevent birds from accessing their nest and in N. Ireland it is illegal to disturb any nesting bird.

Take a picture of a Herring Gull or Pigeon and post them on social media with the petition link asking people to sign and share it (use the same hashtags above where possible). You might like to add a few words about what you think about some birds getting hurt or killed by bird deterrents.
Why not have a go at identifying the different gull species that might be found on roofs and post them with the above link to the petition requesting that people consider signing and sharing it. It all helps!
