Allow families of care home residents to visit with proof of Covid-19 negative results.

The Issue

Thousands of residents of care and nursing homes cannot see their families at all or have restricted visiting.  Many residents with dementia or learning disabilities do not understand the situation and may feel abandoned by their loved ones.

Whilst the government encourage people back to normal lives, the lives for those in homes and their families continue to be distressing.

The importance of staff and residents to be regularly tested is unquestionable so why can't at least one family member of each resident also be tested and allowed to spend time with their loved one. To provide the comfort that only a loved one can.

Please support us in petitioning the government to put measures into place so that families can be reunited again.
