Make Sign Language a GCSE Option in UK Secondary Schools

Make Sign Language a GCSE Option in UK Secondary Schools
The Issue
Yes, knowing French and Spanish and any other language can make a big difference in someone's life and help them in whatever situation they may come across but teaching teenagers and children a new type of communication could also lead to more opportunities for employment in later life. Sign Language is a language to help the deaf and any one with possible hearing problems communicate with each other and help interpret for others and knowing the language can make as much a difference as knowing French, Spanish or any other language. I may only be 14 but I believe that it should be an option to take Sign Language in UK schools. Please sign my petition to help make a difference.
