Petition updateAn Independent Enquiry into the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency

Yet DVSA walks all over the industry., again NASP does nothing,

After unilaterally changing the Part 3  Criteria last month now the DVSA has unilaterally changed the Part 2 as well.

Yesterdays email from the DVSA:

"Changes to assessing fuel efficient driving in ADI part 2 tests
From 19 April, fuel efficient driving will become a driving fault instead of being an educational assessment on ADI part 2 tests."

I don't seem to remember seeing this in any "consultation".

How much longer are the incompetent DVSA going to be allowed to unilaterally change the qualification and SC requirements for ADIs and PDIs?

This failing organisation should be held to account.

The DVSA can only do this because the legislation for the tests is very loosely written and allows them to do what they want. Does anyone hear NASP leading a campaign for the legislation to be tightened up? Thought not.

At least Mrs Trunchbull has been moved sideways from the registrars position. An office should be completely independent of the DVSA anyway. Is this a first step, will Lovejoy be sacked next and have to go back to selling antiques? Our sources are telling us that very senior figures are displeased with the DVSA. It days could be numbered.

Please keep the pressure on the DVSA by passing on this petition and sharing it on social media.

NASP don't anything other than self publicise on pointless podcasts, so its time the DVSA and its management are held properly to account by the taxpayer.
