Every week a life is lost to road accident.while the country tries through ministry of health to save lives(efforts to end HiV,Malaria,Tb etc), motor drivers on our roads drive carelessly,disregarding other users; we have no zebra crossings that work, no traffic regulations followed ,our roads have become murder grounds yet our policies can change that if they can see whats happening on our roads and feel the pain caused to families that lose loved ones.we need strict laws to deter road users from abusing road regulations.we need vigilantes that can atleast volunteer to report any vehicle number that violates standard road regulations. we are calling on fellow citizens,human rights defenders, concerned members of public and our policy makers to say no to road accidents.we are tired of bloodshed and careless road death.
