As of today 8/21/2017, we have over 375 residents and visitors to Hobbs Creek Drive, Layton, Utah asking UDOT to please NOT ruin our neighborhood by routing high speed commuters and semi trucks into our low speed residential access street. This is actually quite an amazing large number of signers for saving and protecting our small street! In our discussions with neighbors, we can honestly say that we have not met one person has felt this is a wise traffic plan or one that supports this UDOT plan. Specifically to turn our little residential access two way road into a one way south direction off-ramp for SR-193 and on-ramp for US-89! Our effort is unanimous in our neighborhood that our little two way Hobbs Creek Drive remain as UDOT just recently spent millions on redesigning and redoing it less than 24 months ago. We currently have a well functioning non-congested direct SR-193 off-ramp to US-89 on-ramp just a few feet away from Hobbs Creek Drive. There is no legitimate reason to change it and cause our homeowners greatly increased danger as they exit and enter their homes and significant property value loss and increased semi truck noise driving next to their homes. - Cheryl Nunn
