UCSD: Stop Charging Students for Weekend Parking + Allow Sophomores to Drive

The Issue

For a University that makes $4.7 Billion in revenue per year, it is absurd to begin charging students for weekend parking and also prohibit Sophomores from purchasing parking passes.

Apparently, paying tuition is not enough anymore. On top of the fact that parking is a rare commodity here on campus, we will now be punished for finding spots even on the weekend.

Despite what the University thinks, student voices DO matter. Let's show them how loud we can be.

We are calling on UCSD to reverse these decisions, as well as demanding that AS stand up for students and oppose these policies as well.
