Tom Clancy's : the Division put forward the realism of New York City depiction. However two of the most iconic buildings of Midtown are not modeled as their real life counterpart because of "trademark issues", according to Ubisoft.

For an important company like Ubisoft, buying licence fees for the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building should not be a big deal, as those buildings were seen during marketting promotion for The Division. Those buildings were also realistically depicted in other majors Ubisoft's productions such as The Crew or Driver : Parallel Lines, so it seems quite strange it is not the case in The Division.

As gamers, a significant part of us was upset with the lack of realism and investment into the modelization of those two beautiful buildings, resulting in a loss of immersion.

Thus we ask Ubisoft to purchase the licences for those buildings, then to implant realistic modelizations of the Empire State Building and of the Chrysler Building into the game through a patch.
