Ubisoft has completely altered Rainbow 6 Siege to fit the more competitive side of the fanbase. A large majority of the fanbase is casual gamers and they love the night maps and casual fun maps such as Plane, Favela, and Hereford Base. The current map rotation (as of operation: Steel Wave) is complete garbage. All the maps are boring and have no flair, unlike the maps they took out of the rotation such as Plane, Favela, and Hereford Base. Seeing the exact same map over and over without even at least changing the time of day just gets boring for us gamers to see. It also makes people want to stop playing the game repetitively because they keep seeing the same boring maps with absolutley no change whatsoever.

     Even good maps are being ruined and players are starting to hate them because they are non-stop playing on them at the exact same time of day. Night time maps are also more comfortable for the human eye to look at for most players. The super bright hues of the daytime maps are very uncomfortable to look at and can cause concentration problems. You can't really have "fun" anymore on the current map rotation because all the maps were selected because they were the most competitively viable. This is forcing players into a state of competitiveness and unnecessary "try-harding." Players are being forced to try and get as many kills as possible and win to have fun; rather than just chilling and vibing with friends on the maps as a way of having fun. Without variation, the maps will become to boring for casual gamers to play on and they will probably end up taking a break from the game until a better rotation comes into play.

     Ubisoft can change the maps or create a setting to where players can pick what set of maps they want to play on and if they would like to have night time maps active. This way both competitive players and casual players will be pleased and Rainbow 6 Siege will not lose players. I wish to see that players start to like and care about the maps more and variety can be seen within the rotation. I fully support and respect Ubisoft for what they have done for Rainbow 6 Siege; however, I feel as if adding these maps and rotation settings would be most beneficial for their community and game.
