Questa petizione nasce da un'idea di due grandi fan del gioco, fondatori di note community dedicate ad Assassin's Creed su Facebook ed Instagram, ovvero "Assassin's Collectibles" e "Mentor of the Creed", i quali, considerando l'importanza riscossa dai remake di vecchi giochi ottenuta negli ultimi anni e per cercare di rendere realtà il desiderio di moltissimi appassionati di Assassin's Creed, hanno deciso di intraprendere questa missione nella speranza di raccogliere più firme possibili per dimostrare ad Ubisoft quanto sia grande la voglia della community di Assassin's Creed di vestire nuovamente i panni di Altair, questa volta però sulle attuali console.

Tutti noi siamo consci di quanto possa essere rischioso un remake del genere, in particolar modo per come si struttura la storia di questo fantastico gioco, fra presente e passato. Pensiamo, quindi, che un remake del primo capitolo possa essere possibile anche senza reintrodurre la storia di Desmond, semplicemente trovando un escamotage che permetta a qualche personaggio nel presente di Assassin's Creed di rivivere gli esatti ricordi genetici, rivissuti da Desmond, relativamente alla vita di Altair. In questo modo, siamo più che sicuri che Ubisoft potrebbe non solo dar vita ad un fantastico remake ma anche ad un vero e proprio nuovo capitolo della saga di Assassin's Creed, facendo rivivere la storia di Altair del primo gioco e, al tempo stesso, una nuova avventura nel presente, accontendando così, non solo i fan di vecchia data ma anche persone che ad oggi non si sono ancora avvicinate alla saga e che, conoscendo la storia di Altair, non potranno far altro che innamorarsene.

We are all aware of how risky a remake of the genre can be, especially for how the story of this fantastic game is structured, between present and past. We think, therefore, that a remake of the first chapter could be possible even without reintroducing the story of Desmond, simply by finding a trick that allows some character in the present of Assassin's Creed to relive the exact genetic memories, relived by Desmond, relating to the life of Altair. In this way, we are more than sure that Ubisoft could not only give life to a fantastic remake but also a real new chapter in the Assassin's Creed saga, reviving the Altair story of the first game and, at the same time, a new adventure in the present, thus satisfying not only longtime fans but also people who have not yet approached the saga yet and who, knowing the story of Altair, will not be able to help but fall in love with it.
