NYC Local bars and restaurants were forced to close to help prevent Coronavirus spread. Unfortunately the existing predatory commission fees (up to 30%) from UberEats and many delivery apps will cause even more economic loss to the local business owners who will lose their livelihood.

Paul is the Owner of a local diner who applied after UberEats said to the media they are "waiving fees" but he got a reply he will have to pay pack the 30% commission UberEats charges.

Instead of sharing the burden delivery apps such as UberEats who has virtually no overhead has stated they have "waived" the commission fees when the truth is the local business owner will have to pay it back. 

Let's stop UberEats from using this grave situation to lie so they look good. They need to make a CORRECTED statement  and tell the media they are DEFERRING THE FEES and retract "Waive the fees" unless they are actually waiving the fees!
