Stop Uber and Lyft from deactivating drivers

Stop Uber and Lyft from deactivating drivers
The Issue
Ride share companies such as uber and Lyft can deactivate drivers account in an instant with a ”pending investigation” of the supposedly accusations against the driver. You can call 100 times send a thousand emails and not get a response regarding your case. They keep the information of the accusations within the company and you do not have chance to fight for yourself. Sometimes they take 6 months to get back too you regarding the accusations And investigation via emails that they could've answered in a timely manner. The support members are trained to make you believe it will be done sooner. Most of the time these accusations are false and are initiated by customers that were only upset because you didn't not allow them to over step certain boundaries in your car. Not to mention drivers are always transporting drunk and Belligerent passengers a lot . They can become hostile and you have too protect yourself from the damage they may cause. Uber and Lyft should take both side into account and not just the passengers. Accusations can and will be made falsely to hurt the driver. When the driver account is deactivated and is the drivers only means of work it becomes unfair also they companies don’t give feedback in a timely matter. They can respond to the 5 emails you sent 6 months later. This is unfair to drivers because they invested their vehicles and put a lot of miles on them. Instead these companies should allow you drive within limits until the investigation is complete.
Also rideshare companies have an it in mind that every ride you give should be at 5 star ratings and 1 rating below 5 stars impacts drivers with lowering there ratings by a point.
You could be at 5 stars and a 1 passenger rates you bellow 5 stars and it will affect drivers tremendously. With that being in account passengers can get into your vehicle already having a bad day. Little things such as your car being too small, too the mistake a GPS makes on the route and high traffic areas can put your own job in danger.
Rideshare companies make it seem as if they truly do care that the driver is doing all the work but when it comes to delivering your concerns they do show any empathy or regards too your unfair treatment. If few passengers are unhappy and report false accusations against you compared too the majority that have had a great team in your car rideshare companies do not take that in to consideration and they deactivate your account without looking at the numerous good things you done.
There is also no recourse to take once you have been deactivated. They don’t allow you too reply after time period. Yourself and your vechile are affected.
Rideshare companies should balance your positive reviews over the negative views you have accumulated. There should be a recourse or probation period to allow drivers to redeem themselves before permanently being let go. Or allow them to reply within a specific period of time.
Drivers should also be coached buy the trust and safety departments by a phone call to receive both sides of the story and the trust and safety department helps the find a common ground on how to keep customers happy and what a driver could do better. Also evaluating the 5 stars systems to take 1 point off the drivers ratings after a certain number of people give a rating below 5 stars.
If these companies keeps their employees happy their customers will be happy as well!
