Hello All, It gives me immense happiness reading this news article this morning and I couldn't wait to share with you all. Here is what Economic Times shared this under their technical Section: Karnataka has sought to put an end to the practice of ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Ola collecting a surge-price from customers as it attempts to level the playing field for all cab operators. Our voice have been heard by Govt. indirectly and something is happening soon. Also, I have asked for your feedback on Uber's comment on our petition. Most of you have disagreed with the fact that Surge goes to Driver's pocket. While many of you claimed that there is no limit and transparency on surge pricing. Again, Many of you want this to go to Court. Please be noted that I am never going to do that since Uber is super smart in handling Legal issues. As expected, many of you want us to use other Taxi Services if we do not like Uber. I have repeatedly said, I love using Uber! I have no hate against them. People are also talking about the time when nobody said anything against the 'free rides' that Taxi services offered during start. Why would an Indian have a problem with something that comes for 'free'? Coming to the point, we all have suffered the surge fare, which has covered those 'free rides' offered by them during their marketing period. Do you need more explanation on this? For me, this is just a beginning, we are looking for more support. Also, we would appreciate your suggestions that could replace this 'surge pricing' model. If you share this on social networks, your friend who might have suffered from Surge price will become aware and will support us if he/she doesn't like it.
