This practice is unjustifiable and Uber Eats should take immediate action to prevent it. Uber Eats STOP ALLOWING CUSTOMERS TO TIP BAIT YOUR DELIVERY DRIVERS.   UBER EATS ONLY PAYS 2.00 PER DELIVERY, THE REST OF THE PAY COMES FROM THE CUSTOMER WHO ORDERS THE FOOD.   To support their delivery drivers, Uber Eats should eliminate the option for customers to retract tips, a feature not present on competing platforms like DoorDash or Grubhub. With rising gas prices and living costs, combating tip baiting is crucial. Continuing to work for Uber Eats becomes challenging when the company appears indifferent to driver concerns. Allowing tip baiting is unfair and must be addressed promptly.
