Help Make U2's Rattle & Hum Available to Stream to support COVID-19 Social Distancing!

The Issue

During this COVID-19 outbreak, many people are stuck at home looking for nostalgic entertainment.  Unfortunately, U2’s Rattle And Hum movie is not available to stream on any major service.  I’ve looked everywhere and I still, haven't found, what I'm looking for!  There are bootlegs and low-quality copies on YouTube.  But if you want to watch the legitimate, original quality film you will be left feeling...numb.

For those of us born in the 1970s, this was a movie we would watch as teenagers while we were waiting for our lives to start.  Now that we are all sheltered in place, waiting for our lives to start again, is the perfect time to enjoy this cinematic celebration of our favorite band.  Already, getting through days working at home and administering online school for our children is only possible with The Joshua Tree as a soundtrack.  Please help us enjoy the full concert experience that resulted from that fine album.

I’m sure there are lots of complicated reasons why the film is not available to stream related to rights and other legal issues. However, I know this can be done.  The band is friends with Bill Gates and was one of the first to release music through Apple Music.  If anyone can break through these problems and bring joy directly to the people, it is U2.

U2 has notably supported important causes and fought diseases in the past.  This seems like a small thing, but making Rattle And Hum available to the masses would provide significant support to the global effort to slow COVID-19 and help us all Stay (Faraway, So Close).
