Starting in just a few days on July 1st, Idaho is going to kill 90% of all the wolves that live there. hunters will be able to shoot wolves from helicopters, cars, and they will even be able to kill mother wolves and their CUBS inside their den. Soon after Montana is doing the same thing. There are about 1,500 wolves in Idaho 90% of that is 1350. So the US government is going to leave about 150 wolves left. That is a staggering number of wolves that are getting killed. The sad thing it is that in Idaho there are more deaths of livestock from domestic dogs than grey wolves. One of the problems is that livestock owners do not see the animals getting killed so when there are missing a animal or see one dead they might tell the government that a wolf did it just so they can get money from the government.
