Hello,
First, as teens working for the ratification of the Equal Rights amendment, we want to thank you for signing our online ERA YES petition. Please feel free to share the petition with others. www.theyellowrosesERA.org
Secondly, last Sunday, to raise awareness of the ERA in person, we had the honor of joining with and working shoulder to shoulder at the Needham Public Library with powerful women's organizations such as The League of Women Voters-Needham, MA and the Women's Suffrage Centennial Celebration (MA). Professor Cynthia Enloe gave a powerful presentation on "The ERA: Why Now?" It is our hope that her talk will be rebroadcast on The Needham Channel. Brava Professor Enloe.
Lastly, CONGRATULATIONS to all who pushed the ERA out of its exile and into the open before a televised U.S. House Committee last week. Brava.
Momentum for ratification of the ERA is building in public libraries and in Washington, DC. There is so much being done and so much more that needs to be done. There's a role for everyone, even teens like us.
