On October 26th, 2019 the ISIS leader Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a military operation. During this operation military K-9 Conan was a large contributor factor to this take down. Conan did receive injuries during the raid but is projected to make a full recovery. What I am trying to do with this petition is give this military hero the recognition she deserves. As of now there is a rule dictating that animals cannot receive the Medal of Honor, I believe this is out dated and needs to be changed for the sole reason these animals are putting their lives on the line just as much if not more than any human soldier. So let's change this policy and give these HEROES the recognition that they have earned, starting with K-9 Conan.
