All across the United states dogs are cruelly bred with poor genetics and are and raised in horrific conditions. There is an estimated 2 million puppies bred in puppy mills's each year. And according to The Puppy Mill Project there is about 1.2 million dogs euthanized in shelters every year. In these puppy mill's, dogs can develop serious health and behavioral problems that are quite expensive and very difficult to treat. Puppy mill's need to be shut down all across the United States to ensure that suffering of these dogs through abuse and mistreatment end. It is important that all puppies are bred and raised in good conditions to maintain a healthy life following their adoption. The majority of all the puppies that are bred in puppy mills develop health problems and anxiety due to stress and poor conditions which later leads to them being put down. It is vital for this cruel punishment to cease, and this can be achieved by creating a law that makes all breeding and raising of dogs in a puppy mill illegal.
