I hadn't intended to send another update so soon. However, yesterdays update generated some issues that need to be addressed. There were also some big events in Washington that we should all be aware of. First let me address yesterdays issue and get that out of the way. When I titled the update "Trump Admitted ..." there was some push back. It was not from Trolls or individuals looking for a fight. It was from people concerned that I and/or Change. org had engaged in a false report. When they tried to confirm my statement, they could not find an actual report of his having done so. I want everyone to know that Change was in no way responsible for this content I, alone am responsible. I am not a professional writer, journalist or politician. As if my writing skills don't give that away. What I wrote yesterday I believed to be true. I thought I had heard Mr. Trump say that he was tired of the investigation and had fired Mr. Comey to put an end to it. The way he speaks it is not always easy to be clear what he is saying. So I thought I would just go to the article and copy the quotes from Mr. Trump and Ms. Huckabee-Sanders for them. I was quickly able to do just that with Ms. Huckabee-Sanders statement. However, when I tried to find the statement from Mr. Trump that was not so easy. I began to doubt myself. So I conceded the point and apologized to anyone who felt I had misrepresented my information. Then I received two emails, which I will share links to, that served as confirmation that where ever I had read or heard Mr. Trump's admission, I was in fact correct. This brings me to the new information. The links I am including (hopefully active) will take you to files put out by PBS ( a very trustworthy outlet) yesterday afternoon. They are copies of letters , one from the House of Representatives, Raja Krishnamoorthi on the Committee of Oversight and Government Reform and the other from the House of Representatives, inclusively. Both letters are addressed to White House Counsel Donald F. Mc Gahn II. One states clearly that Mr. Trump did admit to the firing of of Mr. Comey as an effort to stop the investigation. So I will defer to them as factual support for yesterdays title. They both request that the Administration turn over all information and the tapes Mr. Trump referred to in his twitter threat to Mr. Comey. The request also includes the same items relating to the firing of Micheal Flynn and the meeting with the Russians on Wednesday. The one where US press was excluded and Russian press was included.
