Demand that Congress direct the Armed Services to investigate rape coverup!
The Issue
The President of the Unites States should immediately direct Congress and the House to authorize the Armed Services Commitee to conduct a full investigation of the United States Army and its cover-up of rape and murder of female U.S. soldiers and civilian contractors including but not limited to soldiers, Vanessa Guillen, Lavena Johnson, Tina Priest, Hannah McKinney, Keisha Morgan, Alysa Peterson, Jeanett Dunn, Melissa Hobart and Kamisha Block.
According to DoD statistics, 1 in 3 women are sexually assaulted or raped by men in the military with many "deaths" occurring after a rape had taken place.
In recent years, 8 women from Fort Hood in Texas have died from "non combat related injuries" under suspicious circumstances. 6 women from the 4th infantry division and 2 from the 1st armored division. Our investigators should begin at Fort Hood and with these cases.
The military uses 1/6 of the total national budget or 15%. In 2020, the national budget was approved at over 450 trillion dollars. 15% of 450 trillion is over 750 billion dollars. Bases and installations with high numbers of suspicious deaths should be defunded and closed until investigations are complete. Equally, an independent, civilian board should be appointed to oversee investigations.
