Cosmetic testing on animals is a cause for alarm. The methods of testing cause harmful and dangerous side effects for the animals. They are not provided with appropriate pain medicine so they suffer through the pain alone. Furthermore, their bodies are cruelly disposed of once there is no other use for them. However there are some alternatives available, such as vitro testing and silico modeling. Vitro testing involves 3D reconstruction of human skin models which helps determine the quality and safety of cosmetic ingredients easily. As for silico modeling, it involves advanced computer modeling techniques which helps to predict the way that the human body will react to new drugs accurately. Both of these don't involve harming innocent animals for simple things as cosmetics. Therefore, all companies/corporations that use animals as test subjects, should switch over to the alternatives as stated above in order to ensure the safety of animals.
