Save the North Core Cows

The Issue

Hurricane Dorian carried many horses and cows out to sea from Cedar Island, N.C. Unfortunately, many of those lives were lost. Until, just this week when three cows were discovered on Cape Lookout National Seashore park on the Outer Banks.

These three cows survived by swimming at least two miles to safety. After undergoing the trauma, and fighting to survive, wouldn't it great for these cattle to live out their lives on a farm sanctuary?

There is a 30-day deadline for someone to claim ownership and remove the cows before the National Park Service has to deal with it. If the cows are claimed, with enough support, maybe still we can convince the owner to send them to sanctuary, but if they are not claimed, we can try to work with the National Park Service to have these animals placed into a sanctuary.
