Help stop another family to be torn, let Jose Isai Huezo-Velazquez remain in the US
The Issue
Dear Sir or Madam,
I write to you on behalf of my aunt Maura Iveth Alvarado and cousin Diego Jose Huezo-Velazquez,who cannot voice their thoughts and feelings, we ask to please stop the deportation of Jose Isai Huezo-Velazquez who recently immigrated to the United States
. At the border he was separated from his 13 year old son and wife, his wife and son were released to the united states because of a credible fear of death at the hands of gang threats they received to their son, whom they wanted to initiate him because or their rivalry with the neighboring gang where he attend school at, and on themselves because they refused to allow their son into a danger that mara 18 and maras MS13 have proven to bring to families.
They fled to the US so their family could be safe and together, yet because they were separated at the border now they face being separated even more. We ask you to lend a hand lend your voice they came as a family, they have proven a credible fear, please take into account that a son needs his father. He was being held in La Salle Detention facility in Louisiana, he was moved yesterday night and awaits deportation for Wednesday.
Even though he has not sign for deportation because he holds proof and he fears that upon arrival at El Salvador, the gangs they ran from will come for retribution because in El Salvador running from the law of the "maras"(gangs) be they mara 18 or MS13 is death one way or another they will use him and take his life to show what happens to those who do not listen to them, the authorities from El Salvador will not be able to provide him the protection needed to maintain him safe and alive.
As his niece, for his son and wife I ask you to help him, he is a person of strong moral fiber, and character, one who only came here so he could remain by his sons and wife's side to protect them. Allow him to remain by their side, please stop another life from being taken at the bloody hands of El Salvador's gangs.
Thank you for your time,
