Dog Chaining is a major issue pressing us in this time. Most chained dogs are put in appalling conditions with no food, water, or shelter. As we are approaching winter, hundreds to thousands of dogs will be left in the cold. No warmth, nourishment, or love. This cruel treatment of our companion must be outlawed. Man's (or Woman's) best friends deserve better. All I am hoping for, as a young lady from southern Nevada, is to bring a law into play that prohibits the excessive chaining of dogs (for more than 10 hours), the right for animal protection groups to remove dogs from an unfit environment, and the ban of selling dog-chaining products in pet stores. Our best friends deserve better. So let's bring this to the government and hopefully pass a law to stop dog chaining and the sale of dog chaining equipment.
