The Smith-Mundt Act was established to prevent the Government from using the media to create and promote public opinion. This also allowed opposite voices and opinions to be heard. In the climate we're in now any voice that questions the established narrative is silenced, which is why in the mainstream media you only get one collective "expert" voice about Covid-19 and its solutions. The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act now allows the Government to use the media to create and form public opinion.

The media under the control of the government has labeled anyone who has a different opinion or can produce evidence as anti-vaccination. Even a hearing held in the Senate by world renowned doctors was called Anti-vaccination hearing.
