There is so much animal abuse that the laws have to be changed There is not one single person who should not have to pay when they commit a crime. I don't care who they are. This policeman did wrong and it was proven he did as he never checked on his partner even. If a criminal kills one of the officer dogs, they are charged with killing an officer, and that is what this officer should be charged with. He knew the law if not he had no business being an officer. That poor dog died as he was left in the car for 6 long hours and was never checked on or let out to go to bathroom or nothing. This dog should have been the same as if it was a human partner as it did work and with them and was on the line also. This dog deserves more. This officer should be charged and not just given 5 days without pay. I ask what kind of punishment is that. NONE! He needs to pay for that dog. Sign petition demanding stiffer punishment for all abusers as well as to get rid of kill shelters. Nothing against the employees who do their job, but there are too many animals being abused and/or killed and it has to be stopped. This dog was the same as an officer and look how he was treated. There is no justice for this dog and many other animals that have been a victim. Our animals deserve to be protected and to live their life till the end. This petition is for all animals.
