This is so sad. Twelve horses found dead don't know if there are more or not. Don't know how many more horses were there alive neither. These horses were so hungry they broke the glass on a sliding door, tore the siding off the house looking for food. One describes how one had just delivered a stillborn baby and how she kept nudging her baby to get up. They said about how sad she looked. You must read the story to get the full details. My heart is broken over this,my eyes keep filling with tears. There is so much of animal abuse and/or killing and it has to be stopped. Don't they deserve to live their live to the fullest? Nothing against the employees who do their job, but their are too many being abused and/or killed for nothing they have done. So many abused animals end up in kill shelters and then they are put on DEATH ROW! Yes DEATH ROW. So many criminals get a slap on the wrist and they go on with their life, while the animal is being punished again in a kill shelter waiting for death. It is not fair. Our animals deserve a better life than this and a better place to be saved. Some animal abusers are being charged for more than animal abuse and so many times they dismiss those crimes and just charged them with the other ones. That is not paying for what they did. These animals suffer either way, if they been abused or their life taken. It is MURDER no matter how you look at it! There is no justice for our animals. Laws need to be changed in all states where all abusers are charged for their crimes and the penalty must be a lot stronger than what it is. They need to be so strong that it will make some people think twice before abusing them. It has been said over and over that most of them move on to kill bigger things, which is most likely our children. They must be stopped before they can move on to get to anything else to abuse or kill. The law should be made where the Police must treat this as a crime and to find out who commit them. Not to just look at it like we will ask a couple a couple of people if they know who did it. Look into it has a crime cause that is just what it is. There been cases where the owners left the homes and left abused animals. When read what they have reported is they are trying to find out who did this. Never hear how it ends. Never hear: Well we will find out who lived here last (which they can find out), and question them. They had no business leaving animals behind to run free. So many stay in the yard and just die as they are so loyal they believe they will come back to them. This petition is for ALL ANIMALS, NOT ONE CERTAIN KIND OR JUST ONE INDIVIDUAL like some are.
