So many abusers are getting away with the crime. This person is 18 years old, who should know right from wrong. What will he go for next? He should be charged with murder as that is what he did. The laws need to be changed where everyone has the same laws and they are strict enough to make people think twice about abusing or killing our animals. None should ever get away with it. This poor dog did not have a chance to live, nor did he ask to be shot where he had to be laid to rest. This guy should have no choices in this case what so ever. Nothing against the employees who are doing their job, but there are too many animals being abused and/or killed for nothing they have done. Some abusers walk free but the animal they abused is in a kill shelter on Death Row. They did nothing but put on death row. Does this makes sense? We don't need people like this in our society to abuse or kill more or move on to something bigger than an animal. You know what comes next? Our KIDS!
