Hundreds of thousands of birds and almost 900,000 bats are killed annually due to being hit and killed by wind turbines. This can affect local ecosystems and lower the populations of threatened or endangered bird species, such as the bald eagle. To change this, I plan to make modifications to the wind turbines that will reduce the number of birds and bats hit by these turbines.
