NHTSA Acting Administrator Ann Carlson has been nominated to be confirmed by the US Senate as NHTSA Administrator.  This a tremendous opportunity to have Ms. Carlson speak publicly about unapproved, unregulated, hazardous, and dangerous LED headlights.  The Senate Commerce Committee is holding hearings right now.  Here is the link to the Senators who are on the Commerce Committee. https://www.commerce.senate.gov/members

I have written to Senator Maria Cantwell, who is the Committee Chair.  Please find a Senator who is either from your state or who you think might be receptive to a letter.  In your letter, request that the Senator ask Ann Carlson about why NHTSA is not doing anything about blinding LED headlights and why LED headlights are unregulated.  If we can get any one of these Senators to publicly ask the question about LED headlights, the impact for our cause will be huge.
