We need more allies at the state level.  The method that seems to work is to call the office of your state assembly member or state senator and request a virtual meeting.  The office may then schedule you a few weeks into the future.  When you have the meeting, explain why LED headlights are so dangerous, alert them to our petition, and then ask if their office would be willing to send a letter to NHTSA asking them what steps are necessary to regulate peak luminance and blue wavelength light.  I am happy to join in any meeting to provide technical details and to provide the rough draft of the letter.
