Dear Supporters,

US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was in the news this week lamenting about how traffic fatalities have been increasing these last few years.  He promised lots of money and ideas to solve the problem, but he didn't say anything about the LED headlights.  You and I know that LED headlights are a major risk factor and that we are demanding that the government do something.  Yet Secretary Pete said nothing.

It's not that he doesn't know.  It's not that Acting Director of NHTSA, Stephen Cliff, doesn't know.  It's not that Jennifer Homendy, Chair of the NTSB, doesn't know.  It's not that David Harkey, President of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, doesn't know.  It's that they don't have the courage to upset the industry.  We must keep telling these officials that our eyes and our lives matter.
