Sedona Williams started this petition to Judge Tanya S. Chutkan (United States District Court for the District of Columbia)

Of March 30th last year, Trump Official Scott Lloyd was found guilty of 'tracking the menstrual cycles of teen migrants to stop them from obtaining access to legal abortions.' However, even after Judge Chutkan put out a ban 'temporarily preventing the government from blocking access to abortion services and counselling for teens detained in immigration custody', data shows that this continued to occur after the ban. Multiple entries continued to demonstrate that Lloyd continued to block necessary abortions after this ruling had been put out, even though he was removed from his position at the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

What he did cannot be left at just that.

With the increasing uncertainty around healthcare in the United States and more and more women falling victim to this kind on invasive abuse of their privacy - now is more time than ever to try and take action. We cannot keep allowing the government to look over such instances. Yes, some action was taken to stop this, but clearly not enough. Immigrants need to know that they are going to be granted a safety net - not have their children separated from them or their menstrual cycles analysed for governmental insight.

At this point in time, the United States government are struggling to control the separation of mothers, both old and new, from their children. Therefore, it seems cruel to me that they would continue to put these women at risk of losing their children, especially if they are not prepared to have them in the first place.

Lloyd is known to be an anti-abortion activist with no previous experience regarding the issue. So, what gave him the right to make these decisions? With female family members of mine currently seeking asylum in the US. I cannot put into words how important it is for our nation to ensure that women are granted safety and security when it comes to healthcare, specifically Planned Parenthood. We must make a change and we must not let our current administration easily get away with this kind of behaviour

So, I address this petition to Judge Tanya S. Chutkan and The United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Lloyd's breach of this ban must be taken further into account. The removal of his position does not change the fact that he broke the law. I am grateful for what has been done already, but in order for women to stop feeling this intrusion and uncertainty - he must be held accountable.

Thank You.
