Lift the banned breeds/the dangerous dogs act

Lift the banned breeds/the dangerous dogs act
The Issue
Too many innocent dogs die each year who have fallen victim to the dangerous dogs act.
pit bulls and other bull breeds/types are notoriously named as a “dangerous dog” all because of their looks.
they are commonly used for dog fighting and used as bait dogs, BUT this does not make them “bad dogs” or a breed that should be banned. They are hard workers, loyal, loving and easily trainable and will do anything to please.
As I’m sure a lot of you will agree, it is the OWNER not the dog who is at fault, ANY dog can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
As a bull breed owner and a mother of a small child I can say for certain that I trust my Staffordshire bull terrier more than I would a small dog like a jack Russel or chihuahua. My staff is loving, adores the new addition to the family and is very affectionate toward the baby and us.
There is NO evidence that these dogs are dangerous. It has nothing to do with genetics, you cannot get a dog with “bad genes”.
dogs are man’s best friends, why are we pushing them away and destroying them for no reason what so ever. They’ll do anything for us... why aren’t we doing all we can for them.
Help me end this; help me lift the ban!
Stand up for the “banned” dogs, give them a voice. We must speak for them, for they cannot speak for themselves.
Dog lovers, I urge you to sign and share.
