Tyson Foods is an inhumane chicken supplier that abuses their animals to their death. These chickens barely have room to live, and are constantly beaten unfairly. They are kept in a confined space with no natural light and minimal space to move, without proper ventilation. They are bred to grow unnaturally quickly to the extent that some cripple under their own weight. Many die of starvation or dehydration because they aren't able to feed themselves. When it comes time for their slaughter, the animals are hung upside down on a conveyor belt, causing them to suffer from broken bones and other injuries. Furthermore, some chickens miss the blade that slits their throats, so their heads are brutally ripped from their bodies. We NEED to help these chickens from the abuse they are facing against their will. Sign this petition to help make a change. We are adding McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A to this petition because these fast food chains are supplied by Tyson. KFC, Popeyes and Burger King are also supplied by Tyson Foods. By signing this petition, you can help us convince McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A to stop using meat from Tyson, and help persuade Tyson Foods to improve the living conditions and treatment of their chickens. We want them to allow the chickens to have access to natural light, and allow them to have two square feet of space outdoors per chicken at any time. We believe that there is no humane way to slaughter animals, but we demand that Tyson's methods need to be improved. We aim to convince Tyson to improve their machinery so that it kills the chickens in the designed way. This will ensure that none of the chickens will miss the blade and have their heads ripped off. This does not solve everything, but once we make these small changes, we will be able to eventually take more impactful steps toward ending factory farming.
