Hello wonderful petition supporters! The time has come. I'll be presenting the petition to the WCPSS school board (as long as I'm accepted onto the agenda) on May 15th at 5:30 PM. If you can come and join and help show we are ALL concerned, please mark your calendars and come. There is momentum in filling those seats! And I'll give you hugs and stickers! If you are interested in addressing the board (a few words or up to 3 minutes), that would also be amazing. And finally, my family will be walking in the FARE Food Allergy Walk on Saturday, May 5th and I'll be speaking about the petition and my experience with WCPSS. I know this petition concerns ALL of us because of germs, cleanliness and hygiene -- but for those with food allergies getting this policy changed would be an even bigger step. I know many of the comments from those who signed mentioned food allergies and that warms my heart. If you love someone with food allergies, consider signing up (it's free) to walk.
