Thank you, thank you petition supporters! We are less than 100 away from my personal goal of 2k signatures. I'd love to get more, of course. :) I'm writing you tonight with two updates and requests: 1. I plan to request Tuesday to be on the agenda for Tuesday night's school board meeting. I can't guarantee I'll make the agenda, but that's the plan. If you can come and show up for support, I'll have stickers for everyone -- and there is POWER in numbers. I know it's a busy time of year, but the meeting is at 5:30 in Cary. If you can join, please email me at kira@krobeinteractive.com and I'll send more details. 2. For the next 24 hours, let's blast this petition all over social media and get that number up. This also happens to be allergy awareness week, so it ties in nicely with table cleaning having the added benefit of helping those with food allergies be more safe. This is an easy win for WCPSS. Other systems are cleaning with something other than water, and their policy doesn't match up with research-based recommendations. I want to show them we all demand better for our students. It's better for our kids's health, attendance, teaching good hygiene and keeping our teachers healthy too! Thanks! Kira
