TWO Canadian children are suffering right now because of a police mistake — and the system

The Issue

My name is Evgenii Fish, and this situation is no longer just about me.

It’s about my two young children:

👶 ERVIN FISH — born April 28, 2021

👶 CHARLOTTE FISH — born August 23, 2023

Both are Canadian citizens, both should be home, safe, and attending school or early childhood programs.

Instead:

❗ My children cannot return to Canada

❗ My children cannot attend school

❗ My children live in fear and confusion

❗ My children ask every day why they can’t go home

And all of this is happening because of ONE administrative mistake:

I never received written conditions
I never signed anything
I was in acute psychosis (medically confirmed)
I could not understand English
Police relied only on verbal phone calls
And despite being the victim, a warrant was issued against me

This mistake has now turned into a humanitarian crisis for two Canadian children.

Canada promises to protect children under:

🇨🇦 “The best interests of the child must be a primary consideration.”

— UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (ratified by Canada)

Right now, those best interests are being destroyed.

My children are losing:

their education
their stability
their home
their early development
their sense of safety

Because adults in the system made a mistake —

and no one has corrected it yet.

This petition is no longer just about clearing my name.

This is about protecting two Canadian children who are suffering because of a procedural failure.

We cannot stay silent.

We cannot pretend this is “just paperwork.”

This is REAL harm.

This is NOW.

Please sign and share this petition so that my children —

ERVIN (4 years old) and CHARLOTTE (2 year old) —

can finally come home, return to school, and live the life every Canadian child deserves.

Thank you for standing with us. ❤️
