ICMAI is currently conducting ON-LINE exams (3-10Jan), where reportedly the proctoring of HOME-based Candidates failed miserably. Various Audio and Video Clips, Screen-shots started surfacing on Social Media, and specifically, Twitter, as proof of cheating, copying. Students reported those to the Institute as well, but for some reasons the Institute chose not to take immediate cognizance thereof. Not just that. They chose to strangle the reports of wrong-doing as some motivated miscreants, and continued to push this 8-day, 16 session (3Hr each) exam. Reportedly 60,000 students are affected. And everyday progressive and more sophisticated episodes were being shared to Twitter.

A case to dismiss entire Exam process is sub-judice in ANDHRA HIGH COURT.

Next hearing is scheduled on 27th Jan.

To strangle the Whistleblowers, then, ICMAI lodged a CRIMINAL Complaint against some 100 Twitter IDs with Kolkata Police. This is day-light intimidation and abuse of power. Whistleblower Students are alleged to have hatched CONSPIRACY to DERAIL Examination.

And, Whistler-blower Protection Act-2014 is still with Parliament.

Majority of these students had NICK-name Profiles and Kolkata Police has, reportedly, approached Twitter to reveal their TRUE IDs.

We have no doubt that TWITTER believes in Freedom of Expression.

So, request Twitter to refuse collaboration in this suppression and victimization of Whistleblowers.
