Cyber bullying, among other types, has proved to be something that will only increase as time and technology advances. With the limitless amount of things we can accomplish via social media, we still struggle with eradicating one thing - Cyberbullying. I, among others, understand that there are measures put into place to aid those who are being bullied online. Is this enough? No.

The system of reporting and blocking an account, that harrassment and bullying roots from, is not enough. People are still being bullied and their lives are still threatened. Suicide rates are increasing, mental health is deteriorating. 

With Coronavirus at its peak, many are spending more time online. What does this mean? The amount of victims and bullies are doubled. 

Cyberbullying may not be 'a big deal' to you but to a victim, it is the difference between life and death. 

With the improvements of speed, reliability, stability, performance, bug fixes, interface and many more, why is there no real improvement on security? 

Yes, keep us safe from hackers and in addition to that security, keep us safe from cyberattacks. 

We don't use the security system we would have sworn by 30 years ago. We've upgraded. Why not upgrade the system we have in place at the moment?

By signing this petition, you help to stop or at least decrease the amount of cyber attackers. My goal is to get these signatures to as many social media platform developers as possible so that they can improve their security.

Losing this battle will only result in an increase of bullying. With all the negative things going on around in the world at this moment, stopping one thing is a step closer to peace on earth.
