We, the undersigned, ask that Twitter officially acknowledge that the act of equating a country's national symbols to established hate symbols, such as a Nazi swastika, qualifies as a violation of the rule forbidding hate speech. We further ask that Twitter expand these rules to specifically mention that an act such as equating a national flag with a Nazi flag demonstrates hate against the targeted country and its people and will not be tolerated on this platform dedicated to the open exchange of ideas, free of intimidation.
私たち署名者一同は、一国家の象徴を、ナチスの鉤十字のような憎悪の対象と同一視する行為は「ヘイトスピーチ禁止規則」に違反する行為であることを、公式に認めるようTwitter社に要求致します。さらに、Twitter社には、「我が国の国旗を、ナチスの国旗と同一視するような行為は、標的となる国とその国民に対する憎悪を示すものである」と言及できるよう既設のルールを拡大させることと、加えて、そういった行為は、脅迫や嫌がらせのない開かれた意見交換を目的とするこのプラットフォーム上では到底容認されない行為であるということを明確に利用者に告知するよう、要求致します。
