Today Twitter suspended the parody account @TOMayorFrod. Twitter users have followed this account for updates on the real Rob Ford's whereabouts and activities. Why follow a parody account? Beyond lightening our everyday lives, many of us can not follow Toronto's by name only mayor for such information as, well, he is just not very transparent.

We love following @TOMayorFrod because he tells it like it is all the while not huffing on a crack pipe. It appears that Twitter has been bullied into removing the account. Surely that bullying has not come from Rob Ford or his camp, as he is known to despise bullies.

Twitter, come to your senses. We miss the laughter. While it's fun laughing AT Mayor Ford, it's just not the same as laughing WITH @TOMayorFrod. #FreeFrod
