Our favourite streamer, stream_masterbaiter has been indefinitely (permanently) banned from Twitch.tv without any warning/strikes. This is an unfair treatment and totally uncalled for.

He has been streaming for an entire year with the username stream_masterbaiter and even received his affiliate status from Twitch. He has amassed a big group of followers, subscribers and loyal viewers with his captivating voice and charming personality on stream (quality stream because facecam not even required). He is our source of happiness/joy and our listening ear when life is not that great. The username stream_masterbaiter fits perfectly with our community named "Masters Of Baiting" (MOB). Definition of Masterbaiter: https://imgur.com/a/cx9TEim. It is quite far from "offensive/rude/hate/violence" or “Targeted Harassment, Threats, and Violence Against Others and/or Hate Speech and Other Harassment.” Subscribers are entitled to channel emotes which were fishing hooks/baits. There is clearly no malicious intent behind the streamer’s screen name or conduct.

 We are very disappointed with Twitch for the unreasonable ban with no warning or recourse. Given the situation, he has demonstrated willingness to change his username and rebrand but Twitch is not allowing it to happen (What?) Our streamer has contributed his time and effort over the past year to build the community we have today. It does not deserve an abrupt end. This incident is discouraging fellow streamers and viewers from putting their trust in Twitch.

We feel strongly to resolve this incident and hence a petition to unban stream_masterbaiter from Twitch.tv (and if required, to offer a username change).
