Twitch has came out and decided to shutdown Twitch Sings on January 1st 2021. While I know it might not have grown as much as they originally thought, I will be the first to say for me it isn't about the overall growth. It is about what it has become as a community perspective. I found this amazing community a couple weeks ago and have made friendships with some incredible content creators and viewers.

This community is so far different than communities you would find in other categories. This community has a genuine kindness towards each other and people show support that is rarely found elsewhere. These are true friendships and connections. It's not like playing a popular game to where it's flooded with toxicity and bullying. These people truly care for one another and to have that stripped away without any clear cut plan for a substitute is just disappointing. 

Twitch, I ask you to please reconsider this decision or atleast give us more specific information about what you plan to do to help take care of the Twitch Sings community. Even your Music category is difficult to discover talented artists and musicians, because it is flooded with 24/7 Radio Stations.

You talk about making connections and interacting with each other and positivity. We have done that, and you are deciding to take it away. 

If you care about Twitch Sings and the most positive influential community, I hope you consider signing this petition. Let's show Twitch that we are here and united to keep Twitch Sings alive.
